Message to your statement though about you needing such a pump. The later model twinturbo oil pump is of larger capacity than the original oil pump design. It uses a larger gear-pump mechanism and the body is visually larger as well. The pump has a pressure regulation system of its own which can be modified to increase oil pressure if you so desire. You can remove the large bolt at the bottom of the oil pump which will show you the internals of that device - there is a long spring and a piston in the pressure regulation tube. You can shim the spring by putting washers into the cup that is formed into the bolt you removed. By applying more spring pressure, you can increase the pressure of the lubrication system - which will also increase the flow of the pump. You will also have to shim the regulator on the oil filter bracket as well, other wise the additional pressure from the pump will simply bleed out through the oil cooler line. This wont cause a problem if you didn't shim the oil cooler regulator, it would actually tend to keep the oil a little cooler since you will be flowing more oil through the oil cooler, but you would want to do this to take advantage of having more oil pressure/flow to feed the engine's parts.

In short, the later model oil pump will provide everything you need to lubricate the engine.

What is your intended application/use of the engine you want this pump for?
